As part of the Selfridges BodyCraze exhibition creatively directed by Walter Van Beirendonck.
An image was taken of a young girl scanned into the computer then vectorised and segmented into a 23×23 grid each vector segment was then Dulux Paint colour matched with the aid of the
in–store machines. A 50mmx50mm sample pot of paint was produced for each segment.
Individual labels were then designed for each pot which enabled a large mosaic of the portrait to be made in individual colour sampled pigments.
